Modifikasi Mesin Rewinding Kain Liner Berbasis PLC dengan Metode QCC dan Uji T di Plant ABC

The production of tires at ABC Plant increased from 2100 tires per day in 2023 to 2500 tires in 2024 and is projected to
reach 2700 tires in 2025. However, there are issues related to the availability of 700 mm liner fabric and the rewinding
process on the RW1 machine. These challenges require an effective solution to maintain production continuity. Modifying
the rewinding machine using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and PLC-based control systems is the solution being
implemented. Meanwhile, this study evaluates using the Quality Control Circle (QCC) method and paired T-test to ensure
the effectiveness of the modifications. This research aims to analyze the results of modifying the rewinding machine using
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and PLCbased control systems to enhance production efficiency and capacity at the TBR
Plant. Modifications to the control system and display of the liner fabric rewinding machine based on PLC and an HMI
interface have been successfully completed with the following outcomes: Creating a control panel, using an HMI that
can control and display the length size of the liner fabric and shift capacity, and locking reset access to capacity, Using
a digital voltmeter to monitor the voltage from the potentiometer. All modifications performed have been tested and
function well.
