Rancang Bangun Alat Bantu Penggerak Gerobak Supply Ribbon Pada Mesin Extruder di PT. BIN

Abstrak

Technological advancements play a crucial role in the manufacturing sector, where the main focus is the
automation of production processes. PT BIN, which manufactures Fan belt/V-belt and Conveyor belt, faces
productivity problems especially in the extruder process in the Long Size department, due to the time wasted when
moving the ribbon supply cart manually. This research aims to design a tool that can move the ribbon supply cart
semi-automatically using selector switch control and a 3-phase electric motor. With this tool, it is expected that
waste can be minimized and operator productivity in the extruder process can be increased.
